My fiction writing teacher challenged us to wake up an hour earlier today to write. I did. I was not very productive. It could be because the exercise I was working on is a short story that I don't particularly like. Or, it could be because I wasn't awake yet...or a million other things. He says he likes to write early in the morning because his voice of reason doesn't wake up for at least another hour after him, and that way he has time to write ridiculous things without questioning them. I'd like to think I write without reservation all of the time.....but I could be wrong.
Maybe what I need is coffee.
I have an entire day of homework and projects. However, I have only one class to attend, so I'll have lots of time to be productive. I'm off for now....

Sccippy. I think of my mom calling you scippy, and it makes me laugh. We are watching Ellen on TV, that makes me laugh too, she's CRAZY.
I had a good writing exercise yesterday, you might like it. I went to this giant bookstore here in town, got a photography book called "Human Kind: an emotional journey" and tried to describe the photograph in a letter to a friend. I suggest you do it, either for your blog, or in a letter to me. :) I love your blog, and I am so glad your teeth are clean and that Ryan is a nice dentist. Wouldn't it be sad if he was not a nice dentist?? Eek. I hate to imagine. It will be nice when you move close to the Thomas's. Too bad you aren't coming close to here. :) Scott says he'd be your dentist if that is what you are looking for in a move. No worries, we're here for you.
Coffee is good. So is Diet Coke. What I'm thinking, is that you combine them into a coffeedicoke combination...then see what you write.
I think you should do some creative writing on revolutionary war songs...yankee doodle, etc. :)
what scott just found out- is that someone was ahead of him (just one small step) and that coffeedicoke is COKE BLACK (which is not as good as what coffeedicoke would be, trust me).
