Hey. This week! (insert flailing arms and a dramatic back-of-the-hand-to-the-forhead gesture)
I'm worn out. I'm tired. I'm exhausted. Emotionally. Drained. Physically. Weary.
...
And very hopeful.
This is very good.
I'm growing.
I'm learning about myself.
And I'm encouraged.

you shouldn't be up so late posting on blogs...but...neither should i. today, i had communion for the first time in a lutheran church.
don't take this the wrong way heather, but i'm glad you're a bit tired. when you have no more energy to fight things or put your arms up in defense, is the time you slow down, stop, drop your arms to your side - defenseless, fall to your knees, and fully allow god in. i've been there a number of times. very humbling it is. and always after, i see growth.
i am happy for you and this past week or so heather! let's get coffee, but i'll get tea. cheers . . ..
I am sending big hugs.
I think that you should buy yourself some flowers. Maybe even get a little plant with flowers to keep in your car. :) Carry it around if you want, tell people that it is your happy plant and it makes you smile. Shortly after Scott & I got married, we got a plant, and we named it Wallace. It was instead of a dog, since we couldn't have one. Unfortunately, Wallace is now living in Nebraska with my mom, but it still was fun, and it made us laugh.
What can you laugh about today? Will you write a blog about it when it happens? I'll do the same.
